Thank you for your interest in the services of the Swiss Trichology Institute (Swisstrin AG, hereinafter “Swisstrin”). The protection of your personal data is of great importance to us. This Data Protection Policy explains how we process your data when you visit our website (https://swisstrin.ch) and in connection with the services we provide.
Responsible for Data Processing:
Swisstrin AG
Zürichstrasse 5

Switzerland
Email: rm@swisstrin.ch
Our website can generally be used anonymously. Like many websites, we automatically collect technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type, date and time) to ensure functionality, security, and user experience.
If you book a free assessment (via video call or in person), we collect:
First and last name
Email address
This information is stored in our internal CRM system to manage your inquiry and maintain a potential client relationship.
To conduct an individual analysis of your scalp and hair condition, we collect voluntary information on the progression of your hair and scalp concerns, your general physical and mental health, current medications, and any relevant family history. These specific health data points are necessary to formulate an optimal treatment plan.
You are asked to complete a pre-assessment questionnaire for this purpose. If you choose not to fill it out, you may instead answer the questions verbally during the assessment. Alternatively, you may complete only the questionnaire without attending the assessment. Providing this information is entirely voluntary; however, without it, we may not be able to develop a personalized treatment plan.
These sensitive data are stored exclusively in our systems and are never shared with third parties. Processing occurs solely in connection with the assessment.
For orders, we collect your delivery address and, if applicable, payment information (note: payment data is processed directly via the provider – Swisstrin does not store credit card data). Order data is used for fulfillment and marketing purposes.
With your consent, we may send you information about our products and services by email, SMS, phone, or post. You may unsubscribe from such communications at any time (“opt-out”).
You can register for our newsletter when completing the questionnaire or booking a assessment. Every marketing email includes a link to unsubscribe.
We do not sell or rent your data. For certain tasks (e.g. shipping, newsletter distribution, CRM), we cooperate with trusted service providers such as:
Odoo (CRM, accounting)
Calendly (appointment scheduling)
KIT (newsletter)
Swiss Post, DHL, FedEx, UPS (shipping)
These providers process data strictly within the scope of applicable data protection laws.
Swisstrin primarily works with Swiss providers. In some cases, data may be transferred to countries outside Switzerland or the EU. In such instances, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (e.g. EU standard contractual clauses or Privacy Shield participation).
Our website uses cookies to enhance usability. Third-party services (e.g. Google Analytics or Calendly) may also use cookies. Upon your first visit, you may accept or reject cookies via the banner.
You can modify your browser settings to control cookie usage at any time.
We use Google Analytics for anonymized analysis of website usage. Your IP address is shortened to prevent identification.
